Lantern blind rivet – Reshaping traditional riveting technology

Product Feature:

The rivets are made of high quality all-aluminum body and mandrel, anti-corrosion and anti-rust, with strong grip, effectively preventing from falling off. The flange design can increase the connection area with the plate, expand the force area and keep it stable. The rivet surface is smooth and burr-free, which can be perfectly matched with the core-pulling rivet positioning tool.

These are specialty pop rivets that work well when riveting to softer or weaker materials such as plastic, fiberglass or thin aluminum. Traditional pop rivets can pull through those materials when the joint is stressed due to the small bearing surface on the back side of the rivet. The usual work-around is to put a metal washer on the back side of the rivet before it is tightened, but that’s always a hassle and sometimes impossible (when the back side is inaccessible).

These tri-fold rivets eliminated the need for a backing washer. Large bearing surface on the back side of the rivet to distribute the load over a relatively large area.

These rivets are a step up from regular rivets. They result in an increased holding area. Strengthening the longevity and stability of your riveted connection.
